On many tablets, including the standard iPad and plenty of budget Android tablets, the touch glass and the display underneath are separate parts. If only the glass is cracked and the picture underneath is fine, we can often replace the glass alone, which keeps the cost down.
On premium tablets such as the iPad Air, iPad Pro, iPad mini and Samsung's Galaxy Tab S range, the glass is laminated to the display as one piece. A crack there means a complete new screen assembly, so the repair costs more.

How much does tablet repair cost in Manchester?
It depends on the tablet and the fault. Replacing the glass on a standard iPad or a budget Android tablet costs less than a full screen on an iPad Pro or Galaxy Tab S, for example. Send us the make, model and fault for a free, fixed quote.
Can you fix a tablet with a cracked screen that still works?
Yes, and it's worth doing sooner rather than later. Cracks spread, loose glass can cut, and a display that still works underneath often means a cheaper, glass-only repair.
How long does a tablet repair take?
Many tablet repairs are finished the same day when we have the part. Less common models may need a part ordering, and we'll give you a timescale when we quote.
Do you repair Amazon Fire tablets and Kindles?
Yes. We repair Fire tablets, including the Kids editions, and Kindle e-readers. If a Kids tablet is still covered by Amazon's guarantee, it's worth checking that first.
Will I lose anything stored on my tablet?
Screen, battery and charging repairs don't normally touch your data. We'd still recommend backing up to iCloud or Google beforehand if the tablet works well enough.
Do you collect tablets for repair?
Yes, free from anywhere in Greater Manchester. We collect from your home or workplace and return the tablet once it's repaired and tested.
