Samsung's tablets fall into four families, and the screen type decides a lot about the repair.

Galaxy Tab screen repair and replacement in Manchester
AMOLED screens on the Tab S flagships are thin, bright and expensive, and a crack often spreads into coloured lines or black patches. LCD screens on the FE, Lite, A and Active models cost less to replace, and on some older budget models the glass can be replaced on its own.
Most Galaxy Tabs with an S Pen have the pen-sensing layer built into the screen. If your S Pen stops working in one area after a drop, or the tablet no longer notices it at all, the screen is usually the cause, and a new display fixes the pen too.

Samsung tablet battery replacement in Manchester
Galaxy Tab batteries are large and glued in place, and on most models the screen has to come off to reach them. That makes a battery swap careful work, but it's usually far cheaper than a new tablet and can make an older Tab feel new again.
To slow battery wear from here on, look for the battery protection option in Settings, under Battery. It can stop charging at around 80%, which is kind to a tablet that sits on charge for hours.
If the screen is starting to lift away from the frame, the battery may be swelling. Stop charging the tablet and contact us, and we'll collect it safely.

How much does a Galaxy Tab screen repair cost?
It depends on the model. An LCD screen for a Galaxy Tab A or FE costs much less than an AMOLED screen for a Tab S Ultra. Diagnosis is free, and we confirm a fixed price before starting.
Can you replace just the glass on a Samsung tablet?
On most Galaxy Tabs the glass is bonded to the display, so the whole screen is replaced. Some older and budget models have separate glass, and we'll tell you which applies to yours.
My S Pen has stopped working. Is it the pen or the tablet?
Try the pen on another part of the screen first. If it fails in one area or everywhere after a drop, the fault is usually in the screen's pen layer, which is replaced with the display.
My keyboard cover isn't being detected. Can you fix it?
Often, yes. Book Cover Keyboards connect through small contacts on the tablet's edge, and dirty or damaged contacts are a common cause.
Do you repair Galaxy Tab Active tablets?
Yes, including the Tab Active5 and Active5 Pro, which are popular with businesses and trades.
Will I lose my files and apps?
A screen, battery or charging repair doesn't wipe your tablet. Back it up if you can, and consider turning on Maintenance mode beforehand.
How long does a Samsung tablet repair take?
Many repairs are completed the same day when the part is in stock. Large AMOLED screens for Tab S Ultra models sometimes need ordering in.
