What's new on the S26, and what it means for a repair
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra repair in Manchester
The Ultra packs the most into one phone, and that shapes how it's repaired. Its S Pen docks in the bottom edge beside the speaker, USB-C port and SIM tray, and it writes through a layer built into the display, so an S26 Ultra screen replacement also has to work perfectly with the pen.
Around the back, the three largest cameras sit on a raised island. It's worth checking the lens covers after a drop: a cracked cover lets in dust and blurs your photos, and it's a much smaller job than a new camera.

How much does a Samsung S26 screen replacement cost in Manchester?
It depends on the model. An S26 Ultra screen, with its QHD+ Privacy Display panel, usually costs more than an S26 screen, and the S26+ and S26 FE each take a different part again. How long does an S26 screen replacement take?
Most take under an hour once we have the right screen. The S26 range is new, so if your model's part isn't in stock, we'll tell you how long it will take when we quote, rather than promising same-day and letting you down.
Will Privacy Display still work after you replace my S26 Ultra screen?
Yes, as long as the new screen is the correct S26 Ultra display, because Privacy Display is built into the panel itself. We test it, along with the S Pen and touch, before your phone comes back to you.
Why does my S26 Ultra's screen look dark from the side?
That's usually Privacy Display doing its job. It can switch on for notifications, PINs and passwords, or for the whole screen, so check its settings first. If the screen looks dim from straight ahead, or shows patches or lines, the display itself may be damaged, and we can check it for free.
My S26 Ultra isn't charging at full speed. Is the port faulty?
Not necessarily. The Ultra only reaches 60W with a compatible charger and cable, so try those first. If it still charges slowly, or only works at an angle, we'll check the USB-C port, which often just needs a careful clean.
Do you repair the Galaxy S26 FE?
Yes. The FE went on sale in September 2026 and uses its own screen and battery, different from the S26+ even though both have 6.7-inch displays. Tell us it's the FE so we can source the right part.
Is my S26 still under Samsung's warranty?
Very likely, for faults you didn't cause, since every S26 model went on sale in 2026. Check with Samsung first for anything that went wrong on its own. Accidental damage, like a cracked screen or a drop in water, isn't covered by the manufacturer, and that's the kind of repair we carry out every day.
