Which Galaxy S24 do you have?
The three S24 models look alike but use different screens, batteries and frames, so their parts aren't interchangeable. You'll find your exact model in Settings, under About phone.
Common Galaxy S24 faults, and what they usually mean
These are the problems S24 owners bring to us, and what's usually behind them. Knowing the cause is what stops you paying for a part you didn't need.
Cracked screens and green lines
The Ultra's Gorilla Armor glass is tougher than most, but a hard landing on a corner will still crack any S24. If the AMOLED panel underneath is damaged too, you'll often see green or pink lines, dark patches, or a screen that stays black while the phone still rings. Either way, the fix is a new display.
"Moisture detected" and slow charging
A moisture warning, or a cable that only charges at an angle, usually points to the USB-C port. Pocket lint and early corrosion are the usual culprits, and a careful clean often solves it. We check that before ever recommending a new port.
Batteries that don't last the day
S24 batteries are glued in, and after a couple of years of fast charging most have lost noticeable capacity. You can check yours in the Samsung Members app under Diagnostics. If it's worn, a new battery is a same-day job.
Cracked back glass
All three models have glass backs. A crack there is more than cosmetic: it lets dust and moisture in, and the sharp edges catch. We replace the back glass and reseal the phone.
S Pen not working on the Ultra
The S24 Ultra's S Pen works through a layer built into the display. If it stops responding across part of the screen after a drop, the fault is usually the display rather than the pen, and a new screen brings it back.
Water resistance after a repair
Every S24 is sealed to IP68 at the factory. Any repair that opens the phone means new adhesive, and no repairer can honestly promise the original water resistance afterwards. We'll always tell you that before we start.
Samsung Galaxy S24 screen replacement
On every S24 model, the glass and the AMOLED panel underneath are bonded together, so a crack usually means replacing the complete display rather than just the glass. Same-day repair is available, and most screen replacements take under an hour once we have the right part for your model.

Questions about repairing your S24
How long does a Samsung Galaxy S24 screen replacement take?

Do you repair the S24+ and S24 Ultra as well as the standard S24?
Yes, we repair all three. Each model uses its own screen, battery and frame, so the parts aren't interchangeable. Letting us know your exact model means we can check we have the right part before you come in or we collect.
Will my fingerprint sensor work after a screen replacement?
The S24 range has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display, and we test it before your phone is returned. If your fingerprint needs registering again afterwards, it only takes a moment in Settings.
How can I keep my data private while my S24 is being repaired?
Samsung phones have a feature called Maintenance mode. Search for it in Settings and turn it on before handing your phone over: it creates a separate, empty profile, so your photos, messages and accounts stay locked away while we test the repair. You switch it off afterwards and everything is exactly as you left it. We'd still recommend a backup before any repair.
Will my S24 still be water resistant after a repair?
Every S24 leaves the factory sealed to an IP68 rating. Any repair that opens the phone means fitting new adhesive, and no repairer can honestly promise the original water resistance afterwards. We'll always be upfront about that before we start.
Is it worth repairing my Galaxy S24 rather than replacing it?
For most faults, yes. A screen or battery repair usually costs far less than a new phone, and the S24 range is well worth keeping going. If a repair doesn't make sense for your phone's condition, we'll tell you honestly before you spend anything.
Can you collect my phone or repair it at my home?
Yes. We collect free of charge from anywhere in Greater Manchester, and we can carry out many repairs at your home or workplace. You're also welcome to walk in to our Piccadilly Place base.
