Pixel screen repair and replacement in Manchester
Every Pixel from the Pixel 6 onwards has an OLED screen with the fingerprint sensor built in underneath. After a new screen is fitted, that sensor has to be recalibrated with Google's software, or fingerprint unlock can stop working reliably. A proper screen repair includes that step, and we test your fingerprint unlock before the phone comes back.
Lines across the display, a green tint, flickering, or a screen that stays black while the phone still vibrates all point to a damaged OLED panel, even when the glass looks intact. On the Pro Fold, the inner folding screen and the outer screen are separate repairs, so tell us which one is damaged.
Google Pixel battery replacement in Manchester
Pixel batteries wear like any other, but a few models have had specific problems. Google ran battery programmes for the Pixel 4a, 6a and 7a, and on affected Pixel 6a phones, a mandatory update from July 2025 reduced battery capacity and charging speed once the battery passed 400 charge cycles.
Google's free replacement programme for the Pixel 6a ended on 8 July 2026. If your 6a now runs flat early or charges slowly, get in touch: we'll check its battery health and explain your options before replacing anything.
On recent Pixels, you can check the battery's condition under Settings, then Battery, then Battery health. If the back or screen has started to lift, the battery may be swelling, as happened on some Pixel 7a phones. Stop charging it and contact us.
Pixel Fold and Pro Fold repairs in Manchester
Google's foldables have two screens: an outer display that works like a normal phone and a larger inner screen that folds in half. The outer screen is a straightforward repair, while the inner folding screen is a more delicate and more expensive part, and its availability varies by model.
If the inner screen shows a line along the fold, flickers or has stopped responding to touch, keep the phone closed as much as possible and don't peel off the factory screen protector, which is part of the display. Send us your exact model and a photo, and we'll confirm the options.

How much does a Pixel screen repair cost in Manchester?
It depends on the model: a Pixel a-series screen costs less than a Pro XL screen, and folding screens cost the most. Diagnosis is free, and we'll confirm a fixed price before starting.
Does Pixel fingerprint unlock still work after a new screen?
It should. Pixels with a fingerprint sensor under the screen need calibrating after a new screen is fitted, and we test fingerprint unlock before your phone comes back.
Can you replace a Pixel 6a battery now Google's programme has ended?
Yes. Google's free replacement programme ended on 8 July 2026, but we can still fit a new battery. We'll check the battery's health first and explain your options.
How do I check my Pixel's battery health?
On recent Pixels, open Settings, then Battery, then Battery health.
Should I turn on Repair Mode before a repair?
It's a good idea on the Pixel 6 and newer. It hides your personal data during the repair without wiping the phone, but you should still back up first.
Can you repair the Pixel Fold and Pro Fold?
Yes, including outer screens, batteries and charging faults. Inner folding screens depend on part availability, so send us your exact model for a quote.
How long does a Pixel repair take?
