How much does a Fire tablet repair cost?
The price depends on your Fire model and what's wrong. A charging port costs less than a screen, and a Fire HD 10 or Max 11 screen costs more than a Fire 7 screen. You'll get a fixed price, and our honest view on whether it's worth doing, before we start.
Is it worth repairing a Fire 7?
Sometimes. A charging port or battery repair on a Fire 7 can make sense, but a new screen can cost close to the price of a new tablet. We'll tell you straight.
My child's Fire Kids tablet is broken. What should I do first?
Check whether it's still within the 2-year guarantee that comes with Kids editions. If it is, contact Amazon first. If it isn't, we can repair it.
Will my child's profiles and apps survive the repair?
A hardware repair doesn't wipe the tablet. Profiles, apps and books are also linked to your Amazon account, so they can be restored if a reset is ever needed.
My Fire tablet only charges at an angle. Can you fix it?
Yes. That's usually a worn charging port, one of the most common Fire tablet repairs, especially on tablets used by children.
How long does a Fire tablet repair take?
